The machine that will be used for this course will be FT Dumper – Thwaites Swivel 5 Tonne.

Delegates successfully completing the course will receive a NPORS Red Trained Operator card.  This course is for TEST ONLY – you will receive no practical or theory training on the day.

We are ideally located for individuals travelling to us with a train station only a few minutes away. We can also arrange transport from the train station to our centre if required.

Course Title:

NPORS N204 Forward Tipping Dumper  – This course is for TEST ONLY.

NPORS Test Only – The test only course is designed for operators who are experience and don’t require any assistance and are able to undertake a theory and practical test meeting the standards of the chosen accreditation. (You will need to complete a profile sheet that shows sufficient experience to be able to undertake this test only course at time of booking).

Venue:  This special offer course is to be delivered at our specialist training centre.  Courses can be held at your location, but additional costs will be incurred, please ring for prices.

Certification:  Delegates successfully completing the course will receive a:

NPORS Certification is valid for two or five years. The NPORS CSCS trained operator card last 2 years (to obtain this type of card you will require to have completed a CSCS Health and Safety test within the last 2 years and have proof).  If you have not passed a CSCS Health and Safety test in the last 2 years then you will receive a five year traditional card without the CSCS logo.

Course Content:

Upon completion of this course the delegates will have undertaken theory and practical tests to demonstrate their ability to:

  • Operate the dumper to a minimum standard.
  • Fit and operate ancillary equipment.
  • Site the dumper safely and efficiently.
  • Know which minor adjustments and routine servicing procedures are necessary, and be able to carry them out.
  • Prepare the dumper for travelling on the public highway.
  • Understand the capabilities, purposes and limitations of each machine.
  • Apply all necessary safety precautions.
  • Understand how diesel engines work and how various parts of the machine operate.
  • Be aware of the necessary routine adjustments and service procedures, and carry them out.
  • Work to levels with the aid of laser equipment.
